Evelyn J. Saul 83 of Leesport died July 5, 2010 at 11:14 PM in Manor Care Health Services, Spring Township where she had been a patient 1 week.

She was the widow of Robert C. Saul who died February 18, 2004.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Anna (Schmauder) Heckman.

She was employed for 20 years as a clerk for Met Ed, Muhlenberg Township and lastly for 10 years as senior secretary for Miller and Murray, Reading retiring in 1996.

A 1945 graduate of Reading High School, she was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Shoemakersville.

She is survived by 1 daughter Lori A. Saul of Easton, Maryland and 1 nephew Rick E. Pettinato of Leesport.

She was predeceased by a sister Miriam Pettinato in 2008.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 11:00 AM in Milkins Funeral Home, Inc. 4914 Kutztown Road Temple. Burial will follow in St. Luke's Cemetery, Shoemakersville.
