Mary M. DiJinio 80 of Temple died February 12, 2010 at 8:00 AM in her residence.

She was the widow of Louis A. DiJinio who died August 28, 2001.

Born in St. Clair, she was a daughter of the late John and Susan (Martin) Mochnoc.

She was employed for many years as a sewing machine operator for Temple Apparel retiring in 1987.

She was a member of Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church, Hyde Park. Mary was a board member of the Muhlenberg Swimming Association, a former Girl Scout Leader in Muhlenberg Township and was active in the International Ladies Garment Workers Union.

She loved Christmas and was known for her annual Christmas Eve parties as well as for her cooking and baked goods.

She is survived by her daughter Dr. Donna M. DiJinio of Temple and 3 brothers John and Michael Mochnoc, both of St. Clair and Francis Mochnoc of Lititz and 2 sisters Elizabeth Riegel of Orwigsburg and Eleanor Bezos of Marco Island, FL.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10:00 AM in Holy Guardian Angels Church 3121 Kutztown Road Reading, PA. Inurnment will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery Mausoleum, Laureldale.

The family will receive friends Friday one hour prior to service time in the church.
