Mary P. Rhine 78 of Blandon passed away peacefully January 21, 2010 in Reading Hospital where she had been a patient since Monday.

She was the devoted and loving wife of Curtis W. Rhine.

Born in Blandon she was a daughter of the late John and Pearl (Eckert) Angstadt.

She was a homemaker and a graduate of the Bryland Institute, Reading. She and her husband attended Trinity Bible Fellowship Church for many years and she was a charter member of the Blandon Lioness Club and volunteered for 48 years for the Blandon Ambulance Association. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Kutztown and Central Berks Fire Companies.

She was the devoted mother to son Curtis B. Rhine and wife Judy of Blandon and daughter Kimberly R. wife of Matthew Messinger of Millersburg. There are 5 grandchildren Kristan Beloso, John and Jenna Rhine and Micah and Caleb Oyler and 3 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Monday at 11:00 AM in Trinity Bible Fellowship Church 220 Main Street Blandon, PA 19510 with Rev. Alan Miller, Rev. Dana Weller and Rev. Carl Fischer officiating. Burial will follow in Maidencreek Cemetery.

A viewing will be held Sunday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and Monday one hour prior to service time in the church.
